Research In Rheumatology
Over a twenty year career as a Rheumatologist Dr Hughes has been an active researcher and has presented or published over two hundred peer reviewed papers, case reports and abstracts.
Research work has included RA, OA and Osteoporosis clinical trials along with work exploring issues important to patients such as types of packaging for pills, how patients model their disease and how to get patients involved more in directing clinical trials.
